Just a quick update

Hey everyone!  I know I have been kinda MIA since I hit my 28 days mark, but you know how it is when life gets in the way.  Anyway, I will be taking pictures this week to update at my 6 week mark, but the cool thing is that I weighed myself this morning before doing my Wii Fit and Wii Zumba.  The bathroom scale said 150 lbs and the Wii said 148.8 lbs so I think I will go with the Wii weight.  That makes 12lbs lost in 6 weeks time.  Almost half-way to my goal of 135lbs!!  Stay tuned for pictures (and I still have 2 videos to upload to YouTube as well).

Day 28 (end of week 4)

So here I am at the end of 28 days (4 weeks) on the Roca Labs No Surgery Mini Gastric Bypass Effect.  I have lost a total of 7.4 lbs since day 1 and 15" over all.  My weight loss would be more if I had been working out everyday, but I wasn't feeling good the last few days and I wasn't watching what I ate.  Over all I am please with my results so far because this just shows me that I can lose the weight that I want and adjust the way I eat.  Before I used to fill a large dinner plate and just eat it all or when we would go out I would eat everything on my plate of what I ordered, but now I am barely able to get through half a meal when we go out and at home I use one of the smaller plates and eat about the same as my children.  I see only more progress in my future and I will be reaching my initial target goal 140 lbs.  Here is my measurements from the last 4 weeks.

Week 3 Day 2

My lunch today: Weight Watchers Chicken Salad on white bread (not a fan of wheat), 100 calorie pack Cheese Nips, Yoplait Light Very Cherry (with anti-craving formula in it), and 24oz bottle water with Xenadrine drink mix.

So as you can see I have started this blog post off a little different with a picture of my lunch today.  Total calories for this is 557.  So as of this morning I am still sitting at 155 lbs (5.8lb lost) but I think I am at my plateau, which makes it a good time to add my Oxy Elite Pro fat burner.  I like this fat burner because out of all of them that we (my husband and I) have tried this is the only one that worked for both of us.  Last time I took it (April 2010 - October 2010 - following the dosage instructions) I lost 25lbs with out regular exercise.  So I'm sure you are all wondering about updated stats, so here you go:

New measurements are:
Bust : 37 (.5 inches)
Waist: 26.5 (.5 inches)
Stomach: 35.5 (1 inches)
Hips: 41 (.5 inches)
Thigs: 24 (0 inches)

I'm still doing my regular Zumba and ChaLean Extreme (started week 2 yesterday).  Hopefully with the addition of the fat burner I will have a loss this week.

Week 2 Day 4

Ok I am a day late with the update, but sometimes life gets in the way :) plus I haven't had a loss since Wednesday so I didn't feel the need to update.  Anyway when I weighed myself this morning I had lost another .4 lbs so I am now up to 5.6 lb total loss so far.  I did Zumba three time this week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday) I also started my ChaLean Extreme program as well.  My muscles are sore but not as bad as I thought they would be.  My biggest problem is that I would really like to have something major sweet (like chocolate) but I really can't because I don't want to go backwards.  I also know that as I start to build muscle mass I am going to "gain" weight simply because muscle is denser than fat, so I will HAVE to rely on my measurements to to be able to continue to see results.

Week 2 Day 1

Well Hello once again and welcome to Day 1 of Week 2 of my Roca Labs Journey.  No change in weight from yesterday, but it's better than a gain.  After completing week one I am happy to report that I have lost 5.2 lbs and 9 inches over all. Yay!
New measurements are:
Bust : 37.5 (2.5 inches)
Waist: 27 (2 inches)
Stomach: 36.5 (1.5 inches)
Hips: 41.5 (1.5 inches)
Thigs: 24 (1.5 inches)

Today that I started my ChaLean Extreme challenge in addition to the hour of Zumba I did this morning.  I got to Zumba 5x a week and the ChaLean program consists of 5 workout days and 2 off days (w/o - off - w/o (x4) - off).

Week 1 Day 7

I got up this morning thinking it was time to start week 2, until I looked at my blog and saw that I started my journey on January 25th and not the 24th like I was thinking as I went to bed last night.  Oh well not that big of a deal.  So here we are on day 7 of week 1.  The evil white box (starting to not be so evil) says 155.6 lbs, that means I have lost a total of 5.2 lbs this last week, not to shabby :)  I also did incorporate a couple days of Zumba here at home, but today will be the first day that I am back in the regular Zumba class.  Tomorrow I will start my ChaLean Extreme program.  I am waiting until tomorrow since it will be the start of week 2.  Pictures and updated measurements will be posted tomorrow as I start week 2.

Week 1 Day 5

Ok so I have decided that I am going to blog/weigh every other day (so I don't get obsessive about the evil white box) and vlog once a week.  So this morning I only have a .4 lb loss, but it's better than a gain I guess.  I think I may have over done it a little bit yesterday.  I had a Temptations Party last night and ate 3 double chocolate chip cookies (the last one around 11pm).  I'm still learning the happy medium as far as calorie intake goes.  I don't want to eat too much, but then again I don't want to eat to little.  I have a post-op check up tomorrow so fingers crossed I get my all clear to return to my regular workout level.  I am really excited to start ChaLean Extreme and get this extra weight off and slim down!  I also found out that apple juice and strawberry orange banana crystal light works well for the formula too :)

Week 1 Day 3

So here I am on day 3.  I have found the magical mixture for me, fruit punch with the formula makes it to much easier (and tasty) to get down.  I also started working out again today and did 70 minutes of Zumba 2 for the Wii.  It felt so good to work out today!  I have my check-up with my doctor on Monday so hopefully I get the all clear to go back to the gym because I want to start my ChaLean Extreme 90 day burn.  I did have to use my beta-gluten stuff yesterday because my cravings on Day 1 were ridiculous.  I mix 1 teaspoon with a yogurt and don't even taste it.  So I'm sure you all are wondering what the weight loss is right now ... drum roll
The evil white box (still not my friend) says 156.8 lbs.  That is a loss of 4 lbs since I started on Wednesday.

I really do not want to keep weighing everyday, but I know that I will.

Week 1 Day 1

So as I come to the end of day 1 I wanted to sit down and write a little bit.  The Roca Labs formula is realtivly easy to take, but DOES need flavor added.  I did one green scoop this morning and the one silver scoop around 5pm.  My biggest downfall is sweets, and I can tell because I have been wanting something sweet all day.  I'm gonna have to get used to the feeling of feeling almost full when I sit down to eat.

Measurements:
Weight: 160.8 lbs
Bust: 40", Waist: 29", Abdominal: 38", Hips: 43", and Thighs: 25.5" (around)

Obviously I will not be taking body measurements everyday, as they will not change much from day to day.  I will probably weigh myself each morning, just cause I am used to doing that.

For comparison, this is what I looked like in this bikini back in July of last year:

Food Diary:
Breakfast: 1 large egg scrambled with 1/2 tablspoon Weight Watcher Meixcan Blend shredded cheese, 2 slices of bacon, and wheat toast with 1 teaspoon of strawberry jelly.

Snack: 4 Girl Scout Thin Mints

Lunch: one slice of ham & pineapple pizza

Dinner: Smart Ones Orange Sesame Chicken

Snack: Honey Crunch Apple.

I know that around lunch time I am going to have to use the anti-crave formula just to help curb my afternoon cravings.

Package has arrived!

Ok, so I was wondering just how long it was going to take to get my Roca Labs because over here it usually takes 7-14 days for us to get packages from most places in the states.  Much to my surprise and joy I got an email today that I had a package and since I already got everything else I was expecting I knew it was my Roca Labs stuff.  I'm actually excited about starting this in the morning.

I decided to weigh myself just to see what the evil white box in the bathroom (scale) had to say, and it said I currently weigh 162.6 lbs.  For most people that is not a lot, but for me it is since I have been under 140 lbs (about 4 months ago) and I want to be around 130 lbs when all is said and done.

I will have my husband take pictures and help me take measurements tonight when he gets home from work so that I can keep detailed records of everything.  I will also be working out as soon as my doctor says I can (had an out patient procedure done last Friday).  I plan on starting the ChaLean Extreme program, but Zumba at home will have to do until the doctor say I'm good for the gym.

The Begining

I guess a little bit of background information would be good.  Well, my name is Jacina Woodworth and I am a 29 year old mother of two beautiful children, stay at home mom, and very happily married to an amazing man.  Weight loss has been a struggle for me ever since I had my son back in 2007.  The day I found out I was pregnant I weighed 160lbs.  My biggest downfall was the I thought "oh I'm pregnant, I can eat whatever I want" and thus when I went in to have my son I was 216lbs.  For those doing the math that is a whopping 56lbs gained in 9 months on a 5'8" body.  Yes I lost about 15-20lbs the day that I had him, but I was still heavy.  I actually have pictures from before I got pregnant, during my pregnancy, and afterwards.  My husband did a tour in Cuba from Oct 2007 to Oct 2008 and during that time it was a little easier to lose weight cause I just didn't think about eating since I was working full time and taking care of a newborn.

When he got back from Cuba the Army sent us to Germany (we are still here for another few months) and shortly after we landed in Germany (two and a half months to be exact) I found out I was pregnant again, this time with our daughter.  The day I found out I was pregnant with her I weighed in at 176lbs.  Remembering how much I put on with Ethan, I did not want to make the same mistake while carrying Jaeleigh (pronounced jay-lee).  So I was a lot more careful about what I ate this time around, which is hard cause Germany has some awesome food.  The day I went in to have her I think I was right around 205lbs, so just under 30lbs gained which is normal.

My true weight loss journey started in February of 2010, the day that I has my breast augmentation.  I was 181lbs.  Once I was cleared by my plastic surgeon cleared me for exercise I started working on losing all the baby weight.  In April of 2010 I started taking Oxy ElitePro and working out a few days a week.  By April of 2011 I was down to 141lbs and loving my new body.  I had gone from a size 16 to a size 10 and able to wear a medium in shirts.

Well some medical issues arose that made working out painful (even doing Zumba hurt my back) so I have not been to my Zumba classes since before Thanksgiving of this year and it shows because I have put on about 20lbs.  I am back up to 160lbs and I hate the my waist, abs, and hips look.  My goal is to get down to 130lbs and hopefully into a size 4 or 6.  Yeah I may end up looking like a living Barbi doll, but that is not such a bad thing when I want to get into modeling.

I ordered my Roca Labs No Surgery Mini Gastric Bypass formula and it was shipped out yesterday so I should have it by this time next week (takes about 5-7 days to get packages to our APO here in Germany).  As soon as I get my formula I will be blogging my progress and even vlogging on my YouTube page (www.youtube.com/ladyj1015) so that people can see and follow my progress.

I will have before and after pictures, weight log, measurment log, and real honest postings about my experience.
