The Begining

I guess a little bit of background information would be good.  Well, my name is Jacina Woodworth and I am a 29 year old mother of two beautiful children, stay at home mom, and very happily married to an amazing man.  Weight loss has been a struggle for me ever since I had my son back in 2007.  The day I found out I was pregnant I weighed 160lbs.  My biggest downfall was the I thought "oh I'm pregnant, I can eat whatever I want" and thus when I went in to have my son I was 216lbs.  For those doing the math that is a whopping 56lbs gained in 9 months on a 5'8" body.  Yes I lost about 15-20lbs the day that I had him, but I was still heavy.  I actually have pictures from before I got pregnant, during my pregnancy, and afterwards.  My husband did a tour in Cuba from Oct 2007 to Oct 2008 and during that time it was a little easier to lose weight cause I just didn't think about eating since I was working full time and taking care of a newborn.

When he got back from Cuba the Army sent us to Germany (we are still here for another few months) and shortly after we landed in Germany (two and a half months to be exact) I found out I was pregnant again, this time with our daughter.  The day I found out I was pregnant with her I weighed in at 176lbs.  Remembering how much I put on with Ethan, I did not want to make the same mistake while carrying Jaeleigh (pronounced jay-lee).  So I was a lot more careful about what I ate this time around, which is hard cause Germany has some awesome food.  The day I went in to have her I think I was right around 205lbs, so just under 30lbs gained which is normal.

My true weight loss journey started in February of 2010, the day that I has my breast augmentation.  I was 181lbs.  Once I was cleared by my plastic surgeon cleared me for exercise I started working on losing all the baby weight.  In April of 2010 I started taking Oxy ElitePro and working out a few days a week.  By April of 2011 I was down to 141lbs and loving my new body.  I had gone from a size 16 to a size 10 and able to wear a medium in shirts.

Well some medical issues arose that made working out painful (even doing Zumba hurt my back) so I have not been to my Zumba classes since before Thanksgiving of this year and it shows because I have put on about 20lbs.  I am back up to 160lbs and I hate the my waist, abs, and hips look.  My goal is to get down to 130lbs and hopefully into a size 4 or 6.  Yeah I may end up looking like a living Barbi doll, but that is not such a bad thing when I want to get into modeling.

I ordered my Roca Labs No Surgery Mini Gastric Bypass formula and it was shipped out yesterday so I should have it by this time next week (takes about 5-7 days to get packages to our APO here in Germany).  As soon as I get my formula I will be blogging my progress and even vlogging on my YouTube page (www.youtube.com/ladyj1015) so that people can see and follow my progress.

I will have before and after pictures, weight log, measurment log, and real honest postings about my experience.

  1. Thank you so much for all of your blogs. I am not that much different than you. After my third child I had a breast augmentation. Iv struggled with my weight for a very long time. Im only 30 and I cant seem to stop yoyoing. My highest has been 220. I just purchased the formula. It should be here within the next 2 days. I am 5'7" and this weight sucks on my frame. Reading your progress will really keep me going. Thanks again!!
